In simple terms, Whois is a database used to query whether a domain name has been registered, as well as to obtain detailed information about the registered domain (such as the domain owner, domain registrar, domain registration date, and expiration date). By querying the domain's Whois server, you can find out the contact information of the domain owner, as well as the registration and expiration dates. You can access it using ach5.com/whois!
Explanation of Domain Expiration and Deletion Rules:
International Domains:
(1) On the day of expiration, DNS resolution is suspended. If the domain is not renewed within 72 hours, the DNS will be changed to point to an advertisement page (parking). The domain will be in a reserved period for 30-45 days after expiration (different registrars may have different policies regarding this period).
(2) After the reserved period, the domain will enter the redemption period (REDEMPTION PERIOD) for 30 days.
(3) After the redemption period, the domain will enter a deletion period of approximately 5 days. Once the deletion period is over, the domain will be open for anyone to register.
